Terms of Service

By accessing or using Career Studio (careerstudio.online, the "Service"), operated by helloWorld, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Career Studio is a free, AI-guided CV/resume builder. It offers a conversational assistant that helps you write CV content, a library of professionally designed templates, live preview, and document export. Building, previewing, and editing your CV is free. We also offer an optional paid feature — removing the watermark from your exported CV — described in the "Payments" section below.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its underlying templates and code.

You retain ownership of the CV content you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that content — including sending it to our AI provider — solely to provide the Service to you.

Content suggested by our AI assistant is provided "as is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of your final CV before using it. We do not guarantee any employment outcome from using the Service.

The Career Studio brand, templates, and platform design are owned by helloWorld. You may not redistribute, resell, or reproduce the templates or platform itself outside of your personal use of the Service.

The watermark-removal unlock is priced at LKR 489 for customers in Sri Lanka, paid via PayHere, or approximately $0.56 USD for customers elsewhere, paid by card via PayPal. Pricing and currency may vary by region. Payments are processed by PayHere and PayPal — we do not receive or store your full card details. Once your payment is confirmed, the watermark-free export unlocks automatically for your session. Refunds for this purchase are governed by our Refund Policy.

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be discontinued at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, helloWorld and Career Studio are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any loss related to job outcomes or reliance on AI-generated content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
